The Team
Each member of the team is already a full
time employee of Exclusive Hotels. Such is their passion, they
have committed to this project in addition to their already
bursting work schedules and have made Exclusively Green part of
their work day lives.
Ben Eve
A passionately dedicated Senior Sous Chef at Lainston House
Hotel who has worked at Exclusive Hotels for over 3 years having
joined from The Ritz. Ben has attacked this project with full
effort despite the demands of a busy kitchen.
‘I jumped at the chance to be part of this project
as its vitally important to me that we take action now to address
these issues. I am impressed and driven by the increasing amount of
people re-adjusting their lifestyles having recognised the
importance of protecting our environment and the impact they can
positively make.’
Matt Gillan
An exceptionally talented chef from South Lodge
Hotel. Formerly at the Vineyard, Stockcross, Matt has been
with Exclusive for one and a half years. He has already
created a buzz with his impressive cooking.
'Exclusively Green is a great opportunity for us
to get the ball rolling on tackling serious environmental issues,
providing solutions that will really make a difference. I'm proud
to be part of the team initiating this project.'
Julie Hill
The Group Golf and Membership Manager at Mannings Heath Golf
Club. Julie has been with Exclusive Hotels since May 2004
and strives to build long lasting business relationships with all
her clients.
Her strong attention to detail along with creating events on an
individual basis is the personal touch our clients are looking
for.
'I strongly believe in recycling and being as
energy efficient as possible. This is our way of helping the
environment that we all live in as well as reducing our
costs. Nobody really knows when the world's resources will
actually run out, so let's take care of them now, every way that we
can'.
Ian Henshaw
Greenkeeper - Ian has worked on the golf course at The
Manor House for nearly 10 years, starting as a temporary seasonal
worker and rising to become Deputy to the Hotel's Estates Manager
with responsibility for the golf course and all gardens and amenity
areas.
Working in such a beautiful location as I do, I
realise the importance of our environment and the need to keep it
in good health for future generations. 'Exclusively Green' means to
me, delivering an exceptional guest experience with a clear
environmental conscience.
